"Proof That The Bible Is True"
FACT: "Scientists Admit Genesis is "Close to the Truth": Scientists get a little nervous when they realize that their discoveries lead them back to Genesis chapter one. Notice the use of the word "uncanny" in the following quotes:
"Most cosmologists (scientists who study the structures and evolution of the universe) agree that the Genesis account of creation, in imagining an initial void, may be uncannily close to the truth." (Time , December 1976)

I hate to bust anyone's bubble but these facts are not only "uncanny"; they're TRUE! If there was a Big Bank, it was only because God Created it, just as He created the universe and everything in it!

Thousands of years before modern science identified bacteria, God made provision for Israel by banning the eating of meat that may be spoiled by bacteria." Richard Gunther
The Bacteria Cell: Bacteria have been on the Earth for millions of years but it wasn't until the late 1600s that scientists discovered bacteria. In fact, bacteria were discovered by accident by Anton van Leeuwenhoek who accidentally noticed them while looking at scrapings from his teeth through a very simple microscope. He did not know what they were, but he was essentially the first person to see bacteria.
Now put these 2 facts together and remember that the Book of Exodus was written around 1450-1410 B.C. by Moses in the desert during Israel's wanderings, somewhere in the Sinai peninsula! How could Moses have known to tell the people this fact without the all-knowing power of God? ANSWER: He couldn't have.

Did you know that there have been thousands - not hundreds - of archeological finds in the Middle East that support the picture in the Biblical record! Even small details have been elaborated, like which way the wind blows, how deep the water is a certain distance from shore, what kind of disease a particular island had, the names of local officials, and MANY, MANY other facts!
There is literally SO MUCH Proof and Evidence that the Bible is true that I could not possibly cover it all in one writing! So what I AM going to do, is add just one (most of the time MORE) FACT(S) every week that covers a portion of what we can find in the Bible that has been proven to be 100% accurate! I'll be adding new facts for you most likely at least twice a week or more! New ones will be on the top while the older ones I've put in will move down.
Did you know? There are thousands of hard facts in the Bible that can be proven with verifable FACTS. Therefore, we CAN TRUST the Bible. If we can trust the Bible when it's telling us about straightforward earthly things that can be verified, then we can trust in areas where we can't directly verify it in an empirical way.
Did you know? The Bible is miraculously confirmed by the fulfillment of predictive prophecies . . . The Bible is the only Book in the world that has precise, specific predictions that were made hundreds of years in advance and that were "literally" fulfilled!
Did you know? The Bible phrophecies a plethora of facts. A monumental example are the 30 major prophecies regarding the Messiah with close to 300 details. These include: Who the Messiah would be, where He would be born, from what family He would come, that He would be betrayed by a friend for 30 pieces of silver and how He would die. The statistics for "one" man fulfilling all the prophecies for the Messiah are staggering, not to mention statistically impossible! But there was "one" man who DID fulfill ALL the messianic prophecies. That man was Jesus Christ!
SCIENTIFIC FACT:The Circle Of The Earth: Isaiah 40:22 says, "It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in." This verse was written around 746-680 BC.As we all know, there was a time when people thought the earth was "flat"! The earliest "flat-Earth" promoter was the African Lactantius (AD 245-325), a professional rhetorician who converted to Christianity mid-life. He rejected all the Greek philosophers, and in doing so also rejected a spherical Earth. His views were considered heresy by the Church Fathers and his work was ignored until the Renaissance (at which time some humanists revived his writings as a model of good Latin, and of course, his flat Earth view also was revived).The fact is, nobody is sure who first deduced that the world is round. It is most likely that it was done by observing the Earth's shadow on the Moon during a lunar eclipsebut nobody really knows.What we "do" know is that we find this fact in the Bible at least hundreds of years "before" it was actually "proven" as a scientific fact.Aristotle (384-322 BC) said that it was common knowledge, at least among the learned, so it's been known for at least 2,500 years.

It is the fact that while you can convert matter to energy (like heat that results from a burning log), you cannot create energy or matter out of nothing. There Had To Be A Beginning…For centuries scientists argued that the universe was infinite and eternal. If so, many claimed, there was no beginning and hence "nothing for a creator to do". But, we now know that the amount of usable energy in the universe is decreasing. And, scientists agree, if the universe is running down, it cannot be eternal or infinite.
